I’ve been working up in Oak Run, California about 30 miles east of Redding. Turkey hunting season starts the second weekend in November in California. So feast your eyes and ears on some wild turkey action in northern California. (It’s difficult to see any turkeys because this video was shot with a mobile telephone believe it or not, but you can sure hear them.) There must have been close to 40 turkeys (Hens from what I could tell. Couldn’t see any bearded Toms) “clucking”, “whining”, “cackling” and “gobbling”. Very exciting!
