So I guess there was a recent DJ Shadow/Cut Chemist show at the Hollywood Bowl and it was taped. The DVD is titled Hard Sell and here’s a clip:
I noticed that the Hard Sell DVD also has a “Live in Arcata” featurette. California State University Humboldt is located in Arcata, California ; it is a weird, idiotic, fun, very retarded, beautiful, ugly and interesting town. Some consider Arcata a part of the mythical state of Jefferson. The Arcata Eye’s police log is on the blogroll to the left; it is weird, idiotic, fun, very retarded, interesting and fugly. Read it.
I was over there last week looking at a road project advertised by the County of Humboldt. Beautiful country, I’ll tell you what….beautiful country. It would be a nice job; hopefully they get it at a good price.
Anyway, I had some time to nose around Arcata and Humboldt State. Will post pictures.
